Our Programs
We are creating avenues for new ways of thinking about play and therapy.

The Dr. Alexander Thomas Augusta Mental Health Grant
This grant is to carry on the great work and honor the life of Lt Col (Dr.) Alexander T. Augusta.
Overcoming circumstance to empower the self through determination and resiliency.
The grant provides $150 per session for six
sessions of mental health therapy.

The Elizabeth Blackwell Wellness Grant
This grant is to reflect upon the lessons learned by Elizabeth and to care for those who need it most.
The program provides game-play therapy in veteran communal homes and connects a mental health provider with materials and resources for treatment sessions.

The Dr. Olivia Hooker Legacy Grant
This grant is our way of saying
congratulations and to further
support those who have completed their sessions with their provider.
Dr. Hooker used compassion and
understanding in her work and we want to pay it forward by
ensuring others will be inspired to live with those aspirations in mind.
The program sponsors a veteran or a small group to attend an event
either locally or within a
serviceable area to put their new tools to use and to enjoy play and community.
How it works
Programmatic Overview
Each interested applicant will be asked to fill out a brief
questionaire. We will verify service and will make a decision at a monthly meeting.
We are not accepting applicants at this time. In the future, will we announce our application period(s).
Dr. Augusta Grant
After completing our interest form, we will verify the applicable member's service. We will then hold a meeting to determine the viability of requests. We will reach out to those selected and begin the fund transfer process.
It is up to each individual to schedule their own appointments with a clinician of their choice.
We provide funding for 6 sessions at $150 for each session. We ask that each selected individual request an invoice for services rendered for each session.
Those selected have 12 months to use all funds allocated for their treatment. Failure to do so will result in a forfeiture of funding.
Elizabeth Blackwell Grant
This program allows communal home adminstration and physicians to receive equipment and assistance for treatments. If a mental health practioner is not on campus, this grant allows for the payment of a practioner for either group or individual sessions.
With similiar review processes as the Dr. Augusta grant, the board will also verify the basis of need for the applicant.
Those selected have 12 months to use all funds allocated for their treatement. Failure to do so will result in a forfeiture of funding.
Dr. Hooker Grant
This grant is to reward folks who complete their treatment and would like to put their newfound skills to the test in a public setting. We intend to send those interested to a convention or a military affiliated event at no cost.
At this time we do not intend to send anyone to an overseas location.
